Sustainability Officer
Job Summary
The Sustainability Officer will support the development and implementation of sustainability strategies across Tong Thai Rubber Group. This role focuses on environmental compliance, supply chain sustainability (including EUDR), carbon footprint assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct carbon footprint assessments (Scope 1, 2, and 3 where applicable)
- Support EUDR compliance implementation, including traceability and due diligence
- Perform supply chain risk assessments (deforestation, biodiversity, social risks)
- Coordinate with suppliers, farmers, and dealers on sustainability requirements
- Develop and deliver training programs (Thai & English)
- Assist in preparing sustainability reports, policies, and documentation
- Support internal audits and third-party sustainability audits
- Monitor ESG trends, regulations, and customer requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Forestry, Agriculture, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or environmental compliance
- Knowledge of EUDR, carbon accounting, or supply chain due diligence Preferred
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Good communication skills in Thai and English
- Ability to travel to sourcing areas and factories
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GIS, traceability systems, or audit processes
- Knowledge of rubber or agricultural supply chains
- Familiarity with international frameworks (UNGP, ILO, GPSNR)
